MINISTRY IS FAITH IN ACTION

GROWING FAITH

'Faith is a living, daring confidence in God's grace.' - Martin Luther

Faith in Jesus Christ is meant to be active and evolving throughout our entire lives.

CARING RELATIONSHIPS

Through the incarnation, God chose to dwell among us in flesh and bone. Through caring relationships, we become the hands, feet and heart of Christ.

ACTIVE SERVICE

In the Kingdom of God there is no hunger or thirst, nakedness or oppression. We enact a tiny glimpse of God's kingdom as we serve our neighbors.

GENUINE HOSPITALITY

Biblical hospitality goes beyond our world's understanding of being a good host. True hospitality welcomes the newcomer and the estranged with genuine love.

SLM members from all four congregations park cars, sale baked goods and help in the food booth to raise funds for ministry in Fayette County.

GENUNIE HOSPITALITY

WORSHIP

Biblical hospitality comes to life when we gather for worship. Whether it is your first time in worship, you have been away for a while or you are new to town - you are welcome in our SLM churches. We gather for worship in each church on Sundays. Four or five times a year, all SLM churches get together for a joint worship. Check out the What We Believe section for information on our worship style.
